I got to know her only for a few days but it felt like I'd known her all my life. Such a kind and lovely lady.

The Board of Management and staff of Corpus Christi Girls School would like to express our heartfelt condolences to Fran, Gary, Neil, Aisling, Noreen, Olivia and the extended Lawlor and O’Neill families on the untimely passing of Emer. Emer has been a long- standing neighbour and friend to the staff and pupils of Corpus Christi. She always had the school’s best interests at heart and would keep a watchful eye over the school premises during school closures which was of enormous assistance to the school. She exemplified the core values of Corpus Christi and demonstrated a lifetime of loyalty and commitment to the school as a parent and a grandparent. We will remember Emer as a kind, caring and thoughtful person who always looked out for others. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family at this difficult time.

My life is filled with the souls of women i love. The ones that make my belly ache from laughter, the ones that catch my tears. Who show up on my doorstep to celebrate and grieve. This reminds me of Emer. Always there for me along with my other best friend in the world, Noreen. I have so many memories of our high jinx along the way, in Dublin and in Canada. I am so glad that my daughters saw how close we are and loved you also. They have not left my side since this happened. Memories can be painful but they can also make you smile through the tears.
Emer, i will love you forever.
