I wish we had met more often to have our infamous chats, I wish we had done the trip to Wexford, I wish I had been more help in the past few months. I am so incredibly sorry to hear of Emer’s death.

We met back in the early 90s at National Irish Bank, and I am so grateful that we stayed in touch over the last thirty years. Emer was an incredibly thoughtful friend—she never missed a birthday, and her random cards "just because" always made me feel special.

I will deeply miss our catch-ups. No matter how much time had passed between meetings, we always picked up right where we left off and spent the whole time laughing. She will be very missed, but certainly not forgotten.
