Her warmth and sense of fun,
Were welcoming as the morning sun.
To have enjoyed Emily’s constant good humour and fine voice,
Gives us ample reason to rejoice.
Any party’s life and soul,

But whenever a memory of Emily prompts a smile,
Then perhaps she will linger with you for a while.

Karen I was so sad to hear that Aunty Emily has passed away , my memories of her are such lovely ones her humour the funny faces and expressions she would pull she was just so funny , her stores about her golf which amazed my boys that she played golf in her 80’s and just her zest for life she was a one off , the last time I saw her she was with mum and Kaye at the bungalow and it was so lovely seeing the three of them all together and they were so funny and she told me that she was in the departure lounge stage of life and explained what she meant saying the next stop is heaven and she was laughing when she told me and that just made me really laugh she was just so funny . I am sending you and Donal all my love and thinking of you at this sad time , I will be watching the funeral service from England and will light a candle for dear Aunty Emily xx❤️

Dearest Karen and Donal, sincere condolences on the loss of your lovely mum Karen.

By far the funniest aunty, with the best sense of humour, with her favourite line for many years that she was in ‘the departure lounge of life’. The fun and laughs never stopped when you were in her presence, and I’ll always remember her love of life.

She certainly knew how to live life to the full. Rest in peace Aunty Emily xxx❤️❤️
