I am incredibly sorry to learn of Emily's passing. I went to Mary I with Emily and studied Geography together. I always found Emily to be great company, kind, solid and great crack. Her pride of Galway and love of GAA was always evident. My sincere condolences to her husband Sean & 3 beautiful children and to Emilys parents and siblings who she often spoke about. Emily was not with us very long unfortunately but she is a lady who really made impact, no doubt in every setting; for us in St. Jarlath's it was in her classroom, amongst her colleagues and friends in the staff room and on the sports field encouraging young players. I don't think I ever once saw Emily without an infectious smile which would put anyone who met her in good spirits. Heaven has gained an angel. No doubt Emily will watch over you all.
