My sincerest condolances to all of Emily's family. She was a larger than life character, much loved by all those who worked in Beaux Lane House with her. She had a wonderful laugh and loved to have a chat in the mornings. She is greatly missed by us all.

Our Friday morning coffees in Beau Lane House were filled with laughter, warmth, and her no-nonsense wisdom and humour - she loved a good laugh. There was something deeply comforting about her presence. She made things feel like home. May she rest in peace.

Emily was the first face I would see in Beaux Lane House each morning when I arrived at work - I spend many, many hours chatting with Emily over the long years we worked together and I am so saddened to think she has left us. Such kindness and caring is rare in this world and all of us at RCSI were truly blessed to have had her in our lives.

As I was growing up Emily was one of the lovely Mammy’s on the road, my friend Emily Ma.
As I got older Emily became my little pal, it’s like her age stood in time & I caught up with her. She was so young at heart that she had friends of all ages. Emily was the loveliest, funniest & kindest lady, who aways looked gorgeous in all her matching outfits! If you dropped her up a present, she was back down to you the next day with a box of chocolates to say thanks for getting her a present 🤣🤣 That’s how she was! She loved her trips to Skerries, Bray & her holidays abroad with all her friends.

She found lockdown very hard because she was such a social butterfly. We would talk at the gates of our gardens & she would say how much she missed the freedom of running up the lane to her daughter Yvonne’s house or meeting her friend from Cabra in town for a cake & a cup of tea. As soon as we could leave our houses again Emily was out doing her long list of plans.
Emily’s positive outlook & her fitness really stood by her as she became unwell.

We are going to miss her so much. She brightened up everyone’s day. My heart is broken for family & huge circle of friends & her pal Betty 💔
