Emily’s beautiful family. I feel lucky to have gotten to know Emily over the last few months in Coláiste Íosagáin. I parked myself beside Emily at the lunch table on my first day on the job. Her presence brightened every room and her stories and wonderful laugh will be missed so much. Emily was a dedicated teacher, an exceptional person and the kindest soul. Her loss is beyond words but her memory will continue to brighten our lives forever more.

My deepest condolences to Vinny, Yvonne, Gerry, Colette, gorgeous little Louie and all who loved Emily. I had the absolute pleasure of joining a great group of friends when I started in Coláiste Íosagáin in which Emily was a shining light. Emily’s kindness, sincerity, sense of humour and easy going personality made every day of work enjoyable. She was the best person to get a conversation going from our favourite biscuits to what could we binge watch at the weekend. She was absolutely adored by all in our school community. I’ll be forever grateful to have met Emily and have her in my life. I have no doubt that she will continue to sparkle in heaven just as she did in all our lives..
