Met Emma ten years ago in Blackrock Clinic and straight away was struck by her positivity during such a difficult time. Followed her journey over the years and was priviliged to meet her a few times after that.
Such an inspiration to Cancer patients she will be sadly missed by so many people who looked to her for some of her strength. Deepest sympathy to all her family.

I was shocked and deeply saddened to hear of Emma's passing. What a brave lady. No words could possibly do her justice. Emma's blog touched my heart. My husband is currently battling this very cruel disease and has been for the last two years. I'm sure Emma is looking down from Heaven and willing strength to her beautiful children, husband, parents and family. We ll light a special candle for you all. God bless. Rip Emma.

I am very saddened by the death of author Emma Hannigan from breast cancer. I had the pleasure of watching her on Ireland AM. I am sending deepest condolences to her family on her passing. May she rest in peace, forever in the arms of Jesus. Amen
