Sincere condolences to Emmets family. I spent a year in New Zealand with Emmet and some friends almost 20 years ago. Emmet came with a big smile and positive energy and we had some great times. So sorry to hear of his passing.

I think I met Emmet at least twice and I can say that I liked him immediately. He made sure that I enjoyed myself as a German visitor in Dublin and was very welcoming and friendly towards me. I will treasure the fond memories of the short time I spent with him. My thoughts are with his family and friends. Rest in peace, Emmet. Love Debbie

You were an absolute pleasure. A genuine once-off experience if you will!

In my short time of working at Peninsula, you had managed to introduce me to a plethora of great characters on that top floor and made sure I wasn't left out of a single social event. Your jokes, our laughs, and our chats at Friday lunch with Iano, are genuinely some great memories that I'll always carry. And you had a hell of a serve in Tennis, pity about the rest of the game! (I can only imagine what you'd say to that.)

Sleep tight and rest well dear friend, and please watch over us all.

Emmet would lift the energy in any room he entered with his infectious personality and quick smile. We are lucky to have had him in our lives.

We are so grateful we saw him in such good spirits and looking so well just a few weeks ago. It's such incredibly sad news. He was so young. My deepest sympathy Juno.

Emmet was a beautiful soul. Such a warm, kind and chatty man. He had all the time in the world for people and was always great company to be around. We will really miss him. He showed such bravery & courage through illness and fought to the very end. We’re so sorry to lose him.
