So sad to hear of my cousin Ena’s passing. Sympathies and condolences to Paul and family. Also to Margaret, Evelyn and Tony and to the wider Higgins and McNamara families. What a life she lived and a legacy she leaves. There was always great laughter and memories when the “Clarecastle” gang came to Oran.Her mass today was a fitting tribute to her with beautiful eulogies from the priest and grandson. May she Rest in Peace.

While I didn’t know Ena personally, I watched her Mass as an unknown reasonably new parishioner in Clarecastle/Ballyea. I never heard anybody speak so fondly and eloquently of a grandparent as that lad Donagh spoke today. He is an absolute credit to his late grandmother. May she guide him always and may she rest in peace.
