Ena Sheridan

I am sad to hear of Ena,s death, she was born in Carrandine,
We used to talk about her golf at Balla which she loved.
My sympathy to all my cousins .

I was saddened to hear of the death of Ena Sheridan. She was related to me through my father John Gallagher and although I only met her a few times I remember her as a lively soul who picked out the good in things and got on with it. I was glad I was able to attend her funeral Mass online. May she rest in peace.

We are thinking of all the Sheridans at this difficult time. My Dad- Paddy O’Boyle - who grew up in Balla always held Ena in the highest regard. We spent a week visiting Balla a few years ago now and Ena looked after us every step of the way. She could not have been more charming and helpful and was a big hit with my kids. She gave me a real sense of life in Balla both past and present - a place much discussed amongst my family. She will no doubt be greatly missed by all of her friends, family and larger community.

We were both so saddened to here of the passing of Ena Sheridan, we were her neighbour for 4 years in Balla Ardboley.
She made us feel so welcome when we made the move to Mayo, Ena was such a lovely kind lady & we both grew very fond of her, we both eventually had to move back to England due to sad news of my own, she was always there for us no matter what & I often had to go & feed her cat while she was away on her travels.
We did eventually come back to suprise her a year ago & she cooked us a lovely meal & have a good catch up with everything that we had missed.
We will never forget Ena she was such a special lady, she was like a mum to me.
I want to say to her family that we are so sorry for your loss & we will always have her in our hearts.

Ena was the most kind caring and thoughtful person.

Ena was so good to my mother, her Aunt Tess. When my mother was within days of dying, Ena called in as she did every day. The look of joy on my mothers face when she heard Ena’s voice is a memory I will always treasure.
Ena lit up any room she walked into.
You will be hugely missed Ena.
