My deepest condolences to Eoin's family, friends and girlfriend at this time. I had the pleasure of studying with him in UCC and know that he is such a genuinely good-hearted, kind and beautiful person. I send you my love and prayers during this difficult time.
I was in some of Eoin's French classes as UCC and remember him as shy, polite and softly-spoken. So very sorry to read of this tragic accident and his untimely death. Condolences to his family.
Words cannot express the utter shock and sadness that we are feeling as a result of dear Eoin's tragic death.
Eoin captured our hearts from the first moment he arrived in Cooraclare, with his brilliant smile and his gentle , loving manner.
He blended in immediately and was very eager to discuss Davy and the Clare hurling team with Joe ..( while wearing his Cork jersey!)
Eoin and I shared a love of running ,so on many occasions, Maria had to drag him away as we discussed our training and racing plans....( even though Eoin was a serious runner with his beloved Leevale AC club & I was just a fun runner).
Above all, we as Maria's parents, will always be grateful to Eoin for the beautiful, loving relationship that he shared with Maria. It was clear to everyone that their love was a special ,deep love.
Our hearts are breaking for our darling Maria and Eoin's wonderful family.
We're storming Heaven that all of us who loved Eoin will receive the strength from God to bear this terrible loss.
May your gentle soul rest in peace.

I had the opportunity and the honour to meet and work with Eoin this year at Institut auf dem Rosenberg, I cannot express my emotions with simple words to say how deeply sorry and devastated I am now...Eoin was a young and intelligent man, sporty, great professional, loved and appreciated by everybody in the school...as well as Maria.
I would like to send all my love and condolences from my heart to his family and Maria.
