Sincere condolences to the McInerney family on the passing of Eoin. I remember Eoin from schooldays in Ennis in the 1950s. I also have fond memories of his sister Mary and his mother.

It was with great sadness that I belatedly learned of the passing of Eoin RIP. We both entered ATC back in the heady days of 1964. He was ever a true gentleman and will surely be greatly missed.

Eoin has always been such a gentleman. When I was studying Economics in College he was studying the subject at the same time. We discussed many topics while he so kindly regularly visited my grandmother Rhoda McMahon in Castlelawn. May he rest in peace.

So sad to hear of Eoin’s death. He was one of my instructors when I arrived in Shannon ATC. He was always so kind and patient with us and I remember him with great fondness. A true gentleman. RIP Eoin.

It's hard to believe I was the beneficiary of the chain of coincidences that resulted in meeting Eoin, Mariann, and many others in Luxembourg. I'll remember Eoin for his kind and lively hospitality, whether that was at work, dinner in the Grund, or a visit to Leuven. Those opportunities were few, and sometimes far between, which made them all the more valuable to me. A lovely man, sorely missed.
