Eoin O'BUACHALLA

Órla, Am very sorry to read of your brother Eoin’s passing which I read about in the Sacred Heart newsletter. Condolences to Íde and yourself and all your family. Reading about him here, Eoin was obviously a wonderfully caring man, very loving and much loved who seems to have thrown himself into life to the full to his own benefit and that of all around him. I gather he is already sorely missed but wonderfully remembered. I hope those memories will be a consolation to all of you and that you can smile, or laugh, when you think of him, even if at first it’s through tears.

Rest in peace Eoin. The most amazing father, uncle & grandad that one could wish for. We will all miss his love, kindness and generosity.

My deepest condolences to all of the O'Buachalla family. While I only had the opportunity to meet Eoin a few times, each time he left an impact on me. Over the years, he has been a dear friend to my parents and someone that has been very kind to them which I am very thankful for. Cheyenne -- Rest in Peace.

Eoin and I first met when we started our Surveying studies at Bolton Street, many years ago.
Eoin was most helpful and kind to me during those times, which I appreciated and never forgot.
Our professional paths were such that Eoin practiced in Ireland while I departed to Hong Kong for many years and now live in Sydney.

I’m so sorry for your huge loss, Aislinn, Fionnuala and Niall and your families. Your Dad was one of life’s true Gentlemen. Always positive, always dignified and always fun at the same time. I’m not sure there’s many people you could say that about.

I was telling my Irish friend here how Aislinn had said goodbye to her Dad. I was insisting 'but this guy Eoin, he wasn't your average Dad, he wasn't any kind of Dad you or I would ever have known, he was THE BEST Dad I've ever heard of in my life , Aislinn and Fionualla's Dad was the Dad you read about in the the parenting book, he was the Dad see in the Disney movies, he was supportive, their biggest champion, adoring, doting, always welcoming, he never judged, he was always open, modern and always had a smile'. 'Wow! what a gift' was her reply.
I can't imagine the loss and the pain, but I know you just have to experience it all day by day until the experiences become a joy, a reminder and they bring a smile instead of tears. I have candle lit for his next chapter, back in the arms of his other loved ones.
I'm truly sorry you are going through this and I'm thinking of you and sending you love.

We are all so so sad at the passing of Eoin, a true gent . Such a kind and warm man who adored his children and grandchildren and family. ..Eoin couldn't do enough for his family...and he has passed that love, kindness and generosity to his amazing children.

As my father-in-law Eoin embraced me wholeheartedly into his family. He was always so loving and kind and his generosity knew no bounds ‘the sky’s the limit!’. A true gentleman he always had a kind word and a hug for everyone. He touched so many people’s lives with his dignified manner and wonderful sense of humour. Life won’t be the same without Eoin. He may be gone but he will never be forgotten. He will always have a special place in my heart. May he Rest In Peace.

Eoin, the amazing, legendary EOB. A fantastic “Papa” to Ruairí and Fiadh and Father-in-Law to me. So kind, thoughtful and patient. A role model. Always helpful, nothing a problem for Eoin. Generous to a fault. Eoin, gone but never forgotten. RIP.
