Eoin played minor & senior football with our father in the 50’s and was a crucial part of the team that brought the first Senior County Football Cup back to the Barrs.

Sincere sympathy to the O'Connell family on the sad passing of Eoin. Worked with Eoin in Atkins Chirnside & Co. late 50s early60s and in fact Eoin was instrumental in getting me my first "real job" in Lunham Bros. where I had the good fortune to meet my future wife. Eoin was an important part in the Barrs 1959 ( I think ) Cork Senior Football Championship win. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
