Belated condolences to you all on the sad passing of Eric, I knew Eric for about 25 years through working with Janssen in Little Island. In all our encounters he was a deep caring and very pleasant man, a true gentleman. He was also a font of knowledge, many conversations were had ranging from holidays geography to very complex science. It was a pleasure to have known and worked with him. May he rest in peace.

So sorry to hear of Eric’s passing. We worked together in Janssen many moons ago and he was such a witty and lovely man.

I am very sorry to hear that Eric has passed away. My condolences to Daphne, Brian, Darren, Eric (Snr.), Jacqueline and Suzanne. I was so lucky to have started my working career with him in Janssen, Little Island many years ago. I learnt so much from him and he always imparted his great knowledge and advice so calmly and willingly. He made a real positive difference to everyone he encountered. It is fair to say that “Ní Bheidh A Leithéid Ann Arís”. Rest in peace Eric.

When I think of Eric in later years I can picture him coming across from his desk and me popping my head into the lab to ask a question/ pic his brains about something. He always made time to help.
