Our condolences to Mary, the Pearce family, and to all that knew Eric. We have so many memories of all the great times we spent together. And we will always remember Eric's smile, laugh and personality. He was a dear friend, we loved him and will miss him.

I'll never forget the horsey rides my Uncle Eric would give me as a child. Crazy horse would always buck us off at the end, but he would always catch us sure handedly.
I continue this with my daughter almost daily.

A great brother-in-law, Always had a smile and a ready laugh. He taught me how to tile a bathroom (Step 1: Open a beer), taught me to re-appreciate The Rolling Stones’s Satisfaction and tried and failed to get me to appreciate jazz. He loved the Blues and Mexican food - the hotter the better - I remember him eating some spicy dish and, with sweat pouring down his face, him murmuring lovely, just lovely. We loved him, my wife Diane and I, and we feel such great sympathy for Mary and for Dean and Lisa and for all who knew him. Vaya con Dios, Eric.
