A lovely man that I knew from his day's in Audiovision and as a DJ. I enjoyed his company and his special wit made me laugh many times. May his kind soul find rest in eternal peace.

Our deepest condolences on the untimely passing of your beloved Eric. We got to know him during our children's shared love of karate. Our friendship was sealed when he found out his lovely dad, Eddie, had driven us on our wedding day. He was such a great family man and your loss is immense. I hope your treasured memories of him will ease your sorrow. You are in my thoughts and prayers as you navigate this devastating time without him.

I'm sorry to hear of Erics passing. Although we didn't know each other very well we knew each other to see and say a few words. It didn't matter to Eric though. He always recognised me and was quick to wave and say 'howia'. I remember him fondly when we both used to drive minis, work in the Warwick and dance the night away to his tunes. He was a good lad, a decent chap and we will be worse without him. RIP big man. R

My deepest condolences to Eric's family and friends. I got to know him shortly after arriving in Salthill in the mid 80's and listened to his many tunes in the Warwick. I hadn't seen him in recent years but he was always very friendly towards me.

My heart is breaking for you Yvonne, 💔 I know all too well what it's like for a mother and any household to lose a son suddenly in his fifth's in the prime of his life. It tares a family apart, everyone trying to come to terms with it in their own way.

Such sad and sobering news. A young neighbour that we won't see again; taken far too early from this life. We will miss Eric's presence at Oaklands; always a cheerful wave across the street to us whenever he called to see his mum.
