I went to primary school with Eric in De La Salle and while I have not seen him in several years I will always remember his smile and one for a bit of fun in class. He was kind and considerate to his classmates. I met him on the street some years ago and we recounted some old stories from school. May he rest in peace.

I was deeply saddened to hear about Eric’s passing. I’ve been thinking about all the great times we shared, starting in Ollie’s, then checking out a few more pubs before heading to Snaffles. Eric always knew how to make a good time even better, and those memories will stick with me forever.


Eric was truly one of a kind, and he’ll be missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

He was always willing to lend a hand no matter the task or the weather. He took great pride in where he lived and enjoyed the work he did around the estate. He loved caring for the plants he helped plant watching them grow and bloom. Most will fondly remember him walking Lucky every day and having a chat along the route around the estate with his big warm smile. He was a very obliging man. His gentle soul will truly be missed by all who knew him. May he Rest In Eternal Peace.
