Eric Ryan

Dear Leela and Greg, I am so very sorry to hear about Eric. He was my first boss in Guardian Royal Exchange and we had many laughs during the years we worked together. We used to look out the windows of the office overlooking St Stephens Green and try and guess the different personalities of the folk that walked by !!!!! Fun times. It was a pleasure to have known him. Take care Barbara.

I started work in the State Assurance Company in 1952 under the late Reggie Balbernie, when Eric headed up the Fire Department, and in a few years found myself in the same room as Eric. I found him a gentleman always. I cant recall a single incident of unpleasentness in all the years we worked in that room. Requiescat in Pace.
