I worked with Ernie in Bonnar's many years ago. Ernie was the crane driver and he was always looking out for your safety first and foremost. He was great craic and he was always teaching you a thing or two about life in general. RIP Ernie and condolences to the family.

We were deeply saddened to hear about Ernie's passing last week. Please accept our heartfelt condolences during this difficult time. Ernie was not only a great friend to my late Uncle Tommy in England but also a remarkable man known for his honesty and integrity.

We have fond memories of him driving his digger and working on our farm, always bringing a sense of joy and laughter to his work. His larger-than-life personality and sense of fun will be sorely missed.

It truly feels like the end of an era. We regret that we couldn’t be there to honour his memory at the funeral or wake, but please know that our thoughts are with you all during this time of loss. May you find comfort in the love and support of those around you.
