My deepest condolences to all the Byrne and Cowap families on the passing of Essie she was such a lovely lady a great character herself and Sheila were one of a kind in the Villas they were both so kind to my family when my brother and my mum and dad passed away I will never forget that may she Rest In Peace

So very sad to hear the very sad news of your mams passing. I have such fond memories of herself and Sheila over the years coming in to the shop. You were guaranteed a laugh from them. What a pair of characters they were. Sadly that must be that generation gone. Thinking of you all and give my condolences on behalf of all my family.

Deepest condolences on dear Essie's passing. When I think of my childhood the faces of the Fintan's mammies flood my mind. Essie played her part in building those great memories. Her ladies footballing days, her friendship with Sheila, the annual mass at the furze and her mother selling flowers outside Easons in Dún Laoghaire. God rest her, reunite her with those gone before her and send comfort to you all at this sad time.
