Thinking of all the Lennon family at this very sad time . Gertie was one of a kind, a lovely lady whom I’ve had the pleasure of knowing all my life . From early childhood memories of trips to the beach ( she was like the pied piper with all of us children in
tow ) to sitting in my salon chair . I’ll miss our chats and laughs . A proud , private woman who adored her boys she will always have a special place in my heart .

Oh Gertie what a shock! I'm so happy you were in your house with Pat. You were very good to me when Barry was a baby - you'd take him out in the pram to give me a break and also in each other's homes for a cup of tea and a ciggie and chat. You were a beautiful lady inside and out with the most beautiful eyes Ive ever seen. A Lady never to be replaced. Doreen and Jimmy. RIP 🙏
