I am so happy to read all the beautiful words everyone has to say on here. It is a beautiful and admirable thing to have been known and loved by this many people. You truly made an impact on so many. You were such an amazing grandma, with the best laugh. I am lucky to have had you as a grandma, I only wish I could have spent more time with you. Growing up, I remember thinking you were the most prim proper and proper person, and you were. I swear it’s as if you grew up as royalty. I will forever remember you telling me that it’s okay to take chances, because you could get shot walking out your front door lol. I hope I will remember your laugh and your voice for the rest of my life. I can’t believe you are gone. I know grandad must be so happy to have you back though. You, grandad, aunty Lydia, Coalin, and Mikey all up there finally together again. Please keep an eye out for my mommy, and everyone else. I love you from my bedroom window to the farthest star and back again. Until we meet again <3

You showed me many things during the years and I have learned so much from you like your amazing stuffing recipe, how to sew and you also gave me advice even at my lowest moments
Listening to all the stories you told me as a child and seeing how you loved grandpa made me fall in love with the idea of marriage
You taught me lessons that I will never forget
You were a second parent to me and for that I will be eternally grateful
You will always be on my mind and I will always keep you close

You were there for me when I took my first breaths in this world and it was an honour and privilege to be there for you when you took your last

To my beautiful grandmother, I will miss you beyond words. Thank you for everything you’ve done for me. I will never be able to thank you enough. I will miss our chats, listening to your stories about growing up with your parents and asking me about the latest fashions in all the shops.

I’ll miss our Sundays dinners and watching our shows together. I’ll miss seeing your smile and hearing you giving me advice on whatever challenges I was facing. You were everyone’s cheerleader and I will continue that in your memory.

Essie - I am so happy i got to see you in November, sneaking creamed buns into the home and running out for a cheeky fag. I will miss the days of sneaking into you and grandad's room to go through all your jewels, try your high heels and furs on and apparently drink all your perfume. Thank you for teaching me how to cook and sing like nobody is watching. I will miss your apple pies and the BEST sausage stuffing. Don't give grandad too much crap when you get up there. But give everyone a big hug and kiss for me. Rest easy Essie and I love you from my bedroom window to the farthest star and back again!
