remember that video of the party that was thrown for her years ago in the Towers, she was Simply the Best indeed.
My condolences to you all. My own lovely mother passed two days after yours.

I’m so sorry for your loss. Your mother was a huge character, with a big heart, a ready joke and willingness to work hard for the good of the community of Ballymun. She was to the forefront of many campaigns. My experience of knowing her was through YAP. That the work of that group continues forty years later is a testament to her strength and leadership through the early years. And we had lots of laughs in the middle of it all!!
Rest In Peace Queenie. Your presence in this world will be missed. And thanks for the memories!

I was very sadden to hear of the passing of our dear resident Queenie.

For the short time I had known Queenie - she was a lovely lady who always had a lovely smile and warm welcoming hello as you entered the day room.
