On a warm September morning in 2022, a lovely new couple stepped through our doors after hearing the music drifting along South Main Street. They were strangers then, but it didn’t take long before they became dear friends.

James and Eta Quinn showed us what true love looks like, steady, evolving, and full of heart. Eta, our little firecracker, was always quick with a laugh, full of warmth, and utterly devoted to her James.

We grew to love them both. They supported us in every way they could, helping us move from South Main Street to the Town Hall, showing up for our music every Friday, our Sunshine Cafe, and with James even sharing a few music lessons along the way.

Eta Quinn (née Ellis) fought a brave and dignified fight right to her final breath. James’s love and strength were her secret weapon throughout it all.

We will miss her deeply. Eta was special, one of a kind and we will never forget the laughs, the songs, and the joy she brought into our lives.

We send our love and condolences to James, Alan, Paul, Stephen and family.
