Sincere Condolences from all the ladies at ICA Milltown.
I got to know Ethel in recent years as a neighbour and when she joined our guild in Milltown. I enjoyed visiting her and seeing all her crafts and art work. Her house was full of her hand work and she would tell me about her travels and her interesting life. She will be very much missed here in the neighbourhood.

Andrew, you have been a faithful and loyal son to your dear mum till the end and my thoughts and prayers are with you and Vivien at this sad time. May she rest gently now and forever more watch over you both.

Sincere sympathy Andrew on the death of your dear mother Ethel. It was lovely to meet her and chat just before Christmas and yourself. She was a great ICA member having served in different roles on the committee and a lovely cheerful lady. May she rest in peace.

We are very sorry to hear of Ethel’s passing. We were near neighbours for almost 40 years. Ethel loved a good chat and we enjoyed these with her and hearing all her news. She will be missed. RIP.

Sincere condolences on the death of Ethel. I got to know her in Blackrock ICA, including serving on the Committee with her. She was always great company and up for the chat. She had such a sunny personality and that infectious laugh - you'd always feel the better for having been in her company. She was also generous sharing her beading skills and the beaded angels she showed me how to make hang on my Christmas tree as well as on my brother's in London every year. May her gentle soul rest in peace.

She was our next door neighbour for 46 years. She was always very friendly and had time for a chat and a laugh. We will miss her greatly.

Sincere condolences for the loss of your dear mum. She was always a lady. So creative and full of the chats about her dancing and great pals. She will be sorely missed by many no doubt. Heaven have gained a lady.

I was so sad to hear of Ethel’s passing. I knew her as she was a dear friend of my sister Margaret Gillies. They met initially through their involvement in Civil Defence and stayed friends over many decades. She was a lovely friendly lady and no doubt will be missed by all that knew her.
