There are some people who pass through this world quietly & then there was Eugene.

A man whose presence filled every room, whose smile was wide & whose heart was even wider.
He didn’t just touch lives he left a lasting mark on everyone lucky enough to know him.

Kind, funny, loving, caring, hardworking & deeply considerate, he was the best cousin we could ever have asked for.

Eugene had a way of making everything better just by being there.
His huge blue eyes shone with warmth, light & mischief.
His bear hugs were strong, safe & truly unforgettable.
And his laugh soft & joyful, carried a spark of childlike wonder.

He was the first to help, no matter the need.
With creative hands & a generous heart, he built things, fixed things, & gave everything he could to those he loved, his family, friends & neighbours.
He loved deeply, fully & without hesitation.
He was a role model, honest, loyal, generous & real.

To know Eugene was to be better for it & It was an honour to be related to him.

He will be missed beyond words but remembered in all the best ways, with love, with laughter, with full hearts.

It’s devastating that he doesn’t get to grow old & that we won’t see his beautiful face again or feel one of his amazing hugs, how unfair life is.

Heartfelt condolences to all who knew & loved him, his loss is immeasurable & deeply felt.
He will be truly missed from the Laffan
