Hello Elizabeth and Martin. I am so sorry to hear of Eugene’s passing. I lived over near the Dominicans. Eugene and I, and our dads (Jimmy and Con), were pals. The common link was model trains. Lovely guy. God bless him. Just heard about it this weekend from Mike FitzGibbon.

I'm very sorry to hear of the passing of Eugene. We had many fascinating & often entertaining chats in the staff room at DFEI a long time back. Such a knowledgeable, and interesting man, a true teacher. Terribly sad to hear that he has passed.

Eugene was a much respected colleague and friend, very helpful as I started teaching in what was called at the time Dun Laoghaire College of Further Education. The students loved him.
I will always remember fondly our very interesting and thought-provoking discussions at break times.
