So sorry to hear of Eugene's death. I recall many a good joke or flippant remark from Eugene at Meath County Board meetings. It was indeed a great honour to have made his acquaintance . May you rest in peace Eugene.

To you Margaret and all family... I am so so sorry to hear about Eugene . my deepest condolences to you all. I can't imagine.. Hard to believe. Eugene was a lovely uncle in law... A gentleman through and through and Always brought laughter and smiles... I am sorry I cannot attend as I live abroad but my thoughts are with you all. God speed Eugene.. And rest peacefully... From a Louth man to a Meath man, Eugene you were one of the most decent gentlemen I have come across, your sense of wit and humour was one of a kind. You will be sorely missed in Drogheda .
Sympathies to extended Geraghty family, Eugene was an icon and true gentleman within GAA in Meath ,he will be sadly missed.
