Aideen, Darren and all the Family, it is with great shock and sadness that we learned of Eugene's death.
I got to know him playing for the Sarsfields in 1960's. Always a most dignified and courteous person at work or play. He had no enemies. We always met at the Killeevan G.F.C. annual dinner. Indeed, it's only a few months ago when we enjoyed our last chat. We regret that we will be unable to attend the funeral Mass on Thursday to share your grief on this, the saddest of days.
