I am deeply saddened to hear of Eugene's passing. "A clever mind, a kind heart, and a spirit full of jokes" fully captures the essence of Eugene's life. He was gifted, generous and always loved the craic. In recent years our encounters were mostly limited to lunch at Killorans where he always brightened my day. Sympathies to Casey, Tom, Jim, Hillary and his extended family and friends.
