John and I were really sorry to hear that Eugene has passed away recently. He was a good friend of John’s dad Michael and we used to love the chat with him when we met. Our thoughts are with Josie and all the family. May Eugene rest in peace.

Please accept my condolence, Josie, on the death of Eugene - and which, of course, I extend to your family also. I'm sure it is a consolation that you had a long, happy and fruitful life together. Life is a passing experience; the end is but a part of it. I regret I was not able to attend the funeral ceremonies.
