There is a cloud over Fórsa today as we mourn the loss of our recently retired former colleague and friend. Our deepest sympathies to Teresa, to Eugene's family, and to his close friends and trade union colleagues. He fought the good fight and we will miss him deeply. Suaimhneas síoraí, a chara.
Sincerest sympathy to Teresa and all of Eugene’s family. Eugene was a very good friend to me throughout the years that I knew him in The PSEU and FORSA. He was an excellent trade union official and you could not have a better person in your corner. Eugene’s work led to countless Civil and Public Servants now enjoying better working terms and conditions. A leithéid ni fhaicithe arís. May Eugene rest in eternal peace.

Eugene truly enjoyed life and was a wonderful raconteur. An honest man with a warm sense of humour, he will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.
