So sorry to hear of Eunan's death. A fellow Armachian, it seems only a short time ago I bumped into him in Grafton Street. I met him in Er Bucchetta cafe in Ranelagh on a number of occasions in recent years. My brother-in-law Jamesy Vallely recalls racing against him in athletics many many years ago and bumping into him in New York sometime after. Deepest sympathies to all.
So sorry we missed Eunan’s funeral. Many fond memories. RIP
Saddened to learn of Eunan's passing. His mother was a pupil of my father and we were contemporaries at the primary school of the De La Salle brothers in Keady, St. Patrick's Armagh and Queens. I am glad we met again at a dinner in Dublin a few years ago. Fern Hill was in our poetry anthology in Armagh and we both would have "done it" in class together.
"Little we thought at our sky blue trades that time allows in all its tuneful turnings so few and such morning songs before the children green and follow him out of grace."
So sorry to hear of Eunan's sad & sudden death. We were in St Patrick's College Armagh together many years ago, it's almost fifty years since we left, and scattered into 'adult' life, but the bond remains.

My sympathies to all who have remained close to Eunan over the years, to his family, to his children, to the women especially who were so close, who have known & loved him, and shared his life and love, and to his friends

May the funeral be a time of remembrance, thanksgiving, and consolation. Not able to be in Celbridge on Saturday or the wake - and in the North we do so much like to wake and remember the dead - but I will be remembering him in my prayers, and esp at Mass. and those who are left to mourn.

May he rest in peace. the Light of Heaven to him.
On behalf of the IASS steering committee and all Deferred Pensioners of Aer Lingus may I pass on our sincere condolences and sympathy to Eunan's family and friends at this very sad time.
Although our sadness and sense of loss is truly great and honestly felt, it says so much about the person Eunan was than could ever be put into words. His wise council, sincere empathy, friendly advice and genuine friendship will be sorely missed and was much very very much appreciated by us all.
