As a parent to 2 boys who love hurling as Evan did I am truly sorry for your loss and hope that you find the strength to get through this terrible time - may your son rest forever in peace.

I only knew you for a year or so Evan. Centra will never be the same without your smiling face and cheeky grin. You had such a happy aura about you. Rest in peace Evan. Sincere sympathy to your Mum and Dad, to your little brother who idolised you so much; to Áine and Mick; your grandparents; your friends and team mates. Evan was my favourite person in Centra. I always bought my match attax off Evan. He was so nice to me. I will miss buying my match attax off Evan. Evan gave me extra sweets for my 9th birthday last month. You were always so nice to me Evan. I will miss you. I am sad for your mammy and daddy and your brother.
