Evan, I miss you everyday but how lucky I am to have known you. You were and still are truly inspiring, you were a champion. Not a day goes by that i don’t think of you and your courage, or of all the beautiful memories we’ve made. Evan was the coolest guy. There was never any doubt when he was in our house, as we could hear the giggles and the shouts of laughter from the sitting room. His was often the loudest voice, telling the stories, bringing the energy, buzz and joy to his group of friends. Evan and his friends were the very definition of true, solid, honest friendship, rooted in love. He led the way by showing courage and his friends followed his lead. They were determined to get the most out of their time together, so they went away on holidays, and who knows what they got up to, the secrets are theirs to keep for life.

No word can capture or sound make sense, of a fatal stroke of life sword swooped aggrievedly. Its sharpness allows the wound to heal and you to grieve. Parting physical from touch despair. Life memories remain in the eater of the air, of though and mind forever. Sparkling like the dew caught in spider web, by morning light and the dusk of a summers day, forever omnipotent in every way. Those memories hold tight and guide you throughout out your day. Whilst the physical is parted from this life the stride of presence brushes you like a strong wave breaking on the shore. tickles your toes with warm delight. A friend reminds you of his fight.

Although we didn’t know Evan, speaking to our nephew Marcus and others who did know him well, he was by all accounts a wonderful young man.
