I would like to express my deepest sympathies to Anne and all the Diffney family on the death of your beloved mother Evelyn. I had the great pleasure of meeting your lovely mother.
She was such a gracious lady that exuded such love for her family, friends and neighbours.
It was a joy to be in her company as we shared stories about a mutual connection in Athy.The Diffney family, many of whom I met at a joyous family occasion early last March must take great consolation that your dear mother slipped away peacefully in the end and is now reunited with her beloved husband Paddy.
