I remember Mrs. Fahey with great love and affection, whom I taught alongside at St. Mary’s School for Visually Impaired Children on Merrion Road in Dublin very many years ago.
Ever cheerful and great fun to be around, I am deeply saddened by the news of her death.
I extend my heartfelt sympathy to her family at this time of great sadness and loss.
I have never forgotten Mrs. Fahey; and I never shall forget her.
May she rest in eternal peace.

I was so sorry to hear about the passing of your lovely mam. Although I was quite young when your family lived across the road from us in Beech Park,Athlone.
I always remember her as a kind and warm presence. My family often spoke very highly of her, and she clearly left a lasting impression on those around her.

My sincere condolences to Frank, Emer, Brian, Riona and Daragh following the recent passing of Evelyn. Our family lived next door to the Faheys in Beech Park many years ago. Evelyn was a lovely lady friendly and good humoured. I also remember her as a teacher in the Bower Girls National School. She is surely on her way to rejoin her loved ones in Heaven.

Saddened to hear of the passing of Evelyn, both my sister's Mary and Joan helped with looking after Emer and Brian, in Beech Park, Athlone, My sister Mary was employed there when little Orla passed, and she never forgot her, she often spoke of the love and respect she had for the Fahey family, sadly Mary has passed but I'm sure she'll meet up with Evelyn in heaven
