It's hard to pinpoint the time when the relationship between The Keogh family and The Fennelly Family started. Certainly John & Evelyn, together were very close to our Mum & Dad, Peadar & Sheila. Becoming neighbours in Lahinch is the obvious mutual interest, but before that myself and Fionnuala had become very close to William in Dublin and Paris.

What became very special to witness over the past ten years or more was the close bond between Mum and Evelyn.

It was always a delight to see Evelyn on our visits to Lahinch. We'll miss her dearly. May she rest in peace.
