So very sorry to hear of Evelyn's death. She was very good to us as children, bringing us around Dublin in her Mini car and buying us little treats. She had a real touch of glamour and sophistication and she was so much fun to be with. I remember her with nothing but good memories and fondness. May her gentle soul rest in peace.

I was very sorry to hear of Evelyn’s passing. We enjoyed many chats when I was in visiting my Mum in Altadore. Evelyn was always so friendly and cheerful. I’ll miss seeing her on my visits. Rest peacefully Evelyn.

Dear Frances and Gina
It is with great sadness that I have read today of your dear mother Evelyn’s death.
My deepest , sincerest and heartfelt sympathy to you both, your husbands and children and to all your extension family.
When you lived in Castkeknock I was your family GP for a number of years. Then I left general practice medicine and your Mam moved to Dunlaoighre. And we lost touch. But our relationship during that time was not just doctor/patient. We were very good friends. And, frequently met for coffee. My father was a Roscommon man and we boasted about those illustrious roots. I was always very envious of your Mams impeccable sense of style and dress. At any time she was always beautiful and looked as if she stepped out of Vogue.
But, the main topic of her conversation was always her two girls. She was so proud of you both and your achievements.
My thoughts are with you at this very difficult time. Be comforted by the fact that she is now reunited with your beloved Dad in Heaven where their marriage was made.

Very sorry to hear of Evelyn's death. She was adored by my grandmother, by my mother, Maeve, and really loved by us. We loved her visits to our home in Ballina. She was very kind, glamorous and very good fun. Rest in pleace Evelyn with all your loved ones gone ahead....
