I am so so shocked and saddened to hear of Evie’s passing. I’ve known Evie since her days lecturing me in UCD in 1987 as Dr Quinn and many year later when we became best friends during our Masters in Psychoanalysis and went on to set up our practice together in 2001.
Evie was such a lovely warm person, she was incredibly intelligent and humble. She was such fun and so so proud of her family, she loved you dearly Cathy Tommy and Vanessa.
She was best friend to many people over the years and like me anyone who knew her was very very lucky. Rest in Peace Evie 💕

My sympathy to all Evie's family on her sad passing. I have good memories of Evie in The School of Occupational Therapy, Rochestown Avenue.
Also our mothers had been in school together years previously. RIP

Dear Vanessa, I didn't have the pleasure of meeting your Mum but she must have been a very special person given the lovely daughter she raised. I know losing your second parent is a particularly hard blow. Be gentle with yourself in the weeks and months ahead. My thoughts are with you and all the family.May she rest in peace.

Dearest Vans, Tommy and Cathy, I am so sorry that your Mum has passed. It is so hard to lose a parent and you have already gone through this with your lovely Dad. I know that you were all with her leading up to her passing and I am sure that she was so proud of the three of you and you brought her happiness.
And on a personal note to Mrs Quinn, thank you for bringing my best friend Vanessa, into this world, as I would be lost without her.
