Dear Lucy,Greg and Robyn,
It was with great regret that I heard news of Evin's passing. I am truly sorry for your loss. I hope you can find some solace at this time, by recalling fond memories of Evin, as I have.
When I first met him in 1994 (age 18) I was enthralled to meet the brother of my Grandmother, whom I had never met. He opened up a whole new world from the past that I assumed was lost. Ironically it was my future he shaped, inspiring me to think beyond Rush, albeit in his enduring Rush accent.
Thank you all for allowing me into your lives and influencing mine, both in Glenbrook and Rush.
My sincerest sympathy,
Colin.
Dear Lucy, Greg, Robyn & families,

I send you my deepest sympathy at this sad time. It was an absolute honour to meet Evin and hear stories of his fascinating life. I will remember his kindness always. My thoughts are with you all, I am deeply sorry for your loss.
Lucy, Greg, Robyn and families,
Our thoughts are with you all at this very sad time. We think of Evin with much love and have very happy memories of him, both here in Rush and in Australia, where he made us feel so very welcome. He was the last remaining link to a generation of family who sadly left us all too soon. We are grateful for the oppurtunity he afforded us to get to know him and all of you - his family. We extend our deepest sympathies on your loss. He will be sadly missed.

To lucy, Greg, Robyn and families.

Sorry to hear of Evin's passing. We extend our deepest sympathy and our thoughts are with you all at this sad time. From John, Karine, Ayla and Tadhgie Hunt, Baltimore, Co. Cork.
Dear Lucy, Greg & Robyn, we send you our sincerest sympathy at this time, and our hearts are with you.
It was a privilege to meet Evin, and get to know him to a small degree, to reunite the memories of a family, so many of whom had died at early ages. He lived a long and interesting life and we Irish ones of younger generations were struck by his verve and strength of will, his spirit and generosity, when we met him, in Ireland and in Australia.
