Fabian, it was my absolute pleasure working alongside you these past few years. You brought joy, laughter and positivity to everyone you met. A true gentleman, always! There will be such a huge void at Dalmilling Primary without you - the staffroom will be a much quieter place without your banter, debates, conspiracy theories and tin whistle playing.

It is clear from your service, just how loved you were and so evident that you made a huge impact on so many people's lives. You will be sorely missed by all.

RIP Fabian

RIP to this lovely man, whom I had the pleasure of working with at Dalmilling. My stand out memory of him was in the staff room, always giving support to his colleagues, including me, keeping everyone going with his energetic personality. I remember hearing him play the tin whistle for the first time. I couldn't figure out where it was coming from in the school and followed the impressive sound to find him playing it in his classroom. He was very talented. Sending thoughts and wishes to all who loved him. 💚

I had the pleasure of working with Fabian at Newton PS. He would drive me to distraction at times but also made me laugh a lot!
He will be greatly missed.
My thoughts and prayers are with his beloved family.

Loved Fabian from the minute I met him. You couldn’t get more Irish than this guy but we Scottish folk adopted him as one of our own. A truly beautiful human being who made this universe a better place to be. Love you pal, fly high, good luck as you always said to me, I’ll always use that in the future. You were funny, patient, stubborn, determined, happy and never grumpy, a true legend in my eyes. We’re heartbroken to say goodbye to Fabian — a truly unforgettable character. An Irishman through and through, a brilliant teacher, full of craic, always ready with a conspiracy theory, and never far from his tin whistle.

Whether turning up in Crocs or stirring up some harmless mischief as a social shenanigator, Fabian brought joy and laughter wherever he went.

I had the pleasure of working with Fabian at Dalmilling Primary and he will be sorely missed by all but he will also be remembered for the funny, caring and passionate man that he was 💚

Good chats and great banter in the staff room at Dalmilling PS. A big character and a man with strong,independent outlook. Deepest sympathies to Dawn and all his family and friends.

Fabian coached Calum when he first started playing football and our eldest son Liam also plays in the 2008 team with Wallace. We were all devastated to hear of Fabian's untimely passing and will remember him fondly as a great coach who always had an encouraging word to say to the boys and always asked after our daughter Katie who also plays. We are all glad to have had the opportunity to catch up with him again when Wallace rejoined the 2008 team. His dedication to his family and everything he was part of singled him out as a man who put everyone else first and who always saw the good in everything. Dawn and the boys and wider family will be in our prayers and he would have been so proud of them all for their part in his wonderful memorial in Ayr today. We hope he is reunited with his father and we will miss catching up with him.

A legend of a man who would always greet you with a big hello and a infectious smile. Anywhere he went he made a hugely positive impact of those he met. Prayers and thoughts to all his family and friends.

To Dawn and family. Please accept my sincere and heartfelt condolences for the loss of Fabian. He was a loved friend and colleague and we are heartbroken at Dalmilling. I will always remember very fondly my caring, helpful, funny and talented Irish friend and will treasure my short but happy visit with my husband Alan to his parent's lovely home in County Monaghan.

I met Fabian through our love of golf and although we only met on a few occasions I knew I was blessed by calling him a friend. An honest, selfless and true man. God bless.

Fabian was the heart and soul of our golden days at Auchincruive.

He had a rare gift for bringing people together — a true friend to all, a kind and generous soul, and always a gentleman. His music, his voice, and above all, his infectious laughter filled every room with joy. Anyone lucky enough to cross paths with him carries the warmth of his spirit still.

It breaks my heart that the world has lost such a bright, beautiful spark. My thoughts and deepest love go out to his family, his friends, and everyone whose life he touched. Xx
