Prayers to a long time family friend and priest.
Peace 🙏 🩵
Condolences to the family of Father Seamus.

We will remember him as one of our favorite priests. We still have one of his late night grammar queston phone call messages on an answer machine. (Fr Seamus knew that Brendan was a HS English teacher at Rosary.) And, we loved that Fr Seamus kept a comb in his back pocket.

Your San Antonio de Padua Parish legacy is a testament to your faith and leadership. Rest in peace Father Seamus.
Thank you Father Seamus for all the love and support you have given us over the past 31 years. We will always keep you in our hearts but know that God and all the angels welcomed you home. Thanks be to God for blessing us with you.
Deepest sympathy to Sr Nuala, Sr Cora and all Fr Seamus' beloved family. Sympathies also to his parishioners, fellow clergy and friends. Fr Seamus was a dear friend of our sister Mary Neil and her family and we had the joy of meeting him at his home last year, as well as phone calls during his visits to Ireland.
May he rest in heavenly peace now, his life's work was well done.

We extend our deepest condolences to Fr Seamus’s Sisters and his family. He was a wonderful friend to our brother Colm. May he rest in Peace. Mass has offered for the repose of his soul and for all you in your sorrow.
RIP Father Séamus.
To the loved ones of Father Seamus: You are in my thoughts and prayers as you mourn the loss of beloved Seamus. The world will not be the same without his presence. He was a genuine friend and priest, and we are all so blessed to have know him. I pray for peace for you all. He was truly an amazing soul, and I miss him every single day.
Dear Fr. Seamus' sisters, Sr. Nuala & Sr. Cora, & his nieces & nephews:
We have known Seamus since 1986 when I moved to Anaheim Hills & began attending San Antonio Church. He always joked about how a single woman could afford to live in the area. That was the start of a warm & growing friendship! Later, he performed Joe's & my wedding, baptized Josh & Andy & was their godfather, was at their First Eucharists & Confirmations, & presided at Joe's & my mother's funerals. In countless ways he served our family. Seamus was dear to each of us & a role model & supporter to Josh & Andy. We all admired & loved him greatly. In the past year we were also honored to go out to dinner with him on Saturday nights. There is a void & sorrow in our hearts now, so we can somewhat imagine what you are going through. We wish we could be there to hug & console you, & share stories. Please know you are in our prayers & thoughts. God bless you!
Sincere condolences to Sr. Nuala, Sr. Cora and the McGuinn families on the passing of Fr Seamus. May he Rest in Peace
My deepest sympathy to Sr. Nuala, Sr. Cora, Nuala and the McGuinn family. I had the joy of meeting Fr. Seamus with Nuala in California in 2014 at his home where he celebrated Mass with us and his friends. Nuala sang the hymn Our Lady of Knock which was very emotional for Fr. Seamus and all of us present, it will always stay with me as being a very special day. A very kind, fun and generous man. May Fr. Seamus Rest In Peace, he will be remembered by all who were fortunate to have met him.
I was Seamus' second associate and he taught me so much about leadership, community building, being a person of deep personal spirituality. He was and is a king in my estimation. I loved our time together which spanned over nine years. Keep heaven laughing, Seamus.
Condolences to all Fr Seamus family, relatives and friends and his community on his sad passing.
A remarkable man who achieved and done so much in his pastoral work, I didn't know him. I'm struck by the fact that out of 7 children in his family 5 took up religious vocations. That must be a record. How proud his parents must have felt,
God bless them all. 🙏
Sr Nuala, Sr Cora, Padraic, Maura, Nuala, Séamus and Francis,
Our deepest sympathy to you all on the passed of your beloved brother and uncle. He was a dear friend to our family, an inspirational and much admired priest and shepherd of his beloved flock here in California. He touched countless lives and everyone is the better for knowing him. He will never be forgotten. And even though he lived here for most of his life, his heart was always with you his beloved family and his love for his homeland never faded.
