Felim Cronin

Felim was such an obliging gentleman to give his generous time to assist with research and stories of his early days in aviation. Felim has left a terrific legacy of another generation of pilots. My condolences to Grainne and Caroline.

So sorry to hear of Felim’s passing…he had a great innings !
Our paths would have crossed early 60s at ORK and later in ZRH and AMS….I can only join with many others in expressing my fondness for him, both as a person and a skipper. My sincere condolences to Grainne (I was on a few of your flights too!) and Caroline on your great loss !

My deepest condolences to the Cronin family on the death of Felim. I did not know Felim but he loomed large in memories of my childhood. His mother lived down the road from my home in Ennis. A small aeroplane, possibly a Cessna, would pass over Clonroad and we children were convinced that the pilot was Felim Cronin. On one occasion the plane landed in the field behind the house and we were told that Felim had landed to call into his mother. Later when he graduated to larger aircraft we were convinced that the pilot was likely one of the neighbours.

Grainne and Caroline,i was very sorry to hear of Felims passing,I have very fond memories of both your parents when i worked in The Medical Hall.

So sorry to hear this news. My deepest sympathies to Caroline and Grainne and all the family. I have fond memories of the odd Sunday afternoon flight to (I think) Strokestown with Felim. It was always fun and enjoyable.
