I didnt know this wonderful man personally but looking at the amount of people who turned up at hehirs was a joy to behold and its just the beautiful thing when strangers stop and chatvto you it realkyvshows how beautiful felix was i heard hecwas one excelkent teacher maybe we met but thank you to the kind people who had a chat with me its excactLy what felix would want people who came to be nice n kind to strangers well done it realky shows the kindness of people sometimes i ask people just paas by but no thisvwas different kind decent lovly people who wanted to recall happy memories they shared with thiscwonderful man bless him

Felix was Deputy Principal of St. John’s Senior School in Ballybough Street for over twenty years.He was a brilliant and conscientious teacher and always had a calming influence on everyone he met during the school day.He worked hard and gave freely of his time in sporting and other after school activities.He was my great friend both in and out of school and we enjoyed many games of golf in Mountain View Golf Club in Ballyhale especially on evenings after school. Like all good Wexford people, Felix put up a great battle in his final illness but sadly he left us far too soon.You will be greatly missed good friend. Ar dheis láimh Dé go raibh a anam uasal.

Both Felix and my late husband, Seamus, enjoyed many cycling trips abroad during the 80s. Seamus always spoke very fondly of Felix and held his friendship with him in high regard.
