So sorry to hear of the death of Felix. I worked with him in his own quarry for a year before he went teaching. He was a great worker. I also played hurling with him when he played for Kilgarvan and he won 3 Senior Hurling Championships, 1953,1956 and 1958. He also played hurling for Kerry.. He was a very good footballer and won two Senior District Football Championships with Kilgarvan.. May he rest in peace.

So sorry to hear the sad news of your Dad's death. I remember Uncle Felix with great fondness from our trips to Bruree as children. I especially remember his broad smile and his loud, deep laugh when we children all charged around your large garden in Bruree playing hide and seek together, before going inside for a huge tea. (Or to naughtily hammer on the piano in your front room.)
