Fergus CASEY-SMITH

Sad to hear of the passing of Uncle Fergus. Though it has been many years since I last saw him I have fond memories of his visits to our home in England to visit his sister Vena.
My condolences and sympathy to all his family and friends.

I met Fergus on a special trip to Ireland with my Mam (Vena). He struck me as a quiet, gentle man, who my Mam said was "more intelligent than any of her family put together". He held a special place in Mam's heart, as he appears to have done with many. Please accept my heart felt condolences. He is at peace now.

So very sad to hear about the death of Fergus. He was a gentle man and a Gentleman. My thoughts are with you Kieran, Eileen and all his lovely family. Rest in peace dear Fergus.

News of Fergus’s death brought back memories of my Uncle Fergus when he stayed with us in England; when he took my sister Clare and myself to the cinema in Fairview to see our first James Bond film when we were visiting his mother, our grandmother; of the chocolates he brought back to us from his place of work; of his wedding to Deidre which I attended with my mother, his sister Vena, and many more. He is now reunited with Deidre, my mother and my sister; I have my memories. My condolences to his family at this sad time.

We were saddened to hear that Fergus passed away. We remember fondly his last visit with us and Vena. Our thoughts are with you and your family, much love.
