Condolences to Gordon, Barry and Laine on the passing of your Dad Fergus . Condolences also to the Ferguson family. I met Fergus for the first time when he called for my brother Gerard ( R. I. P.) they remained very close friends. I'd like to say l became a friend of Fergus too. I'm sure going miss having a couple of pints with him on my visits home . Fergus and Gerard can have a couple of pints and enjoy a chat about football and golf.

Much love for my big uncle Fergus. He had the best name ever, and a great big character to match. I liked to see him when we visited Ireland as kids and as an adult mostly at family weddings. Fergus and Claire made the effort to come to London for my wedding which I am so grateful for. My best memory of Fergus is just a few years ago. I spent the day with him and my mum, his sister Anne. The three of us took the train from London down to Brighton to watch Evan play (and score twice!) Such a brilliant day. Rest in peace uncle Fergus.

So very sorry for your loss. Played golf regularly with Fergus in Forrest Little in the couple of years before he left. He was such a fast player. His philosophy was if you weren't going well after 4 or 5 holes, it wasn't your day and you should just hurry up! Wonderful character.
