I just heard of Fergus’ recent passing today. Sincere condolences to Emer and Craig. May the Lord comfort you at this sad time.

Only heard of his death yesterday.Greatly saddened to hear of it.A wonderful man ,an umpire par excellence and great company in the apres match analysis over a few sociable pints.We had many good times in the old Brigids clubhouse.Ar dheis De go raibh a hanam dilis.

Sorry to hear of Fergus’ passing, I have many a fond memory of him and my Father lifting me over the turnstiles in Croke Park for Dubs matches. Unfortunately that was the end of the happy memories back then as the Dubs were not as impressive on the park in those days, success came in later years when the lads were unable to lift me anymore!
